Announcing a New Program for 
Separated & Divorced Fathers

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is launching an exciting new program dedicated to divorced or separated fathers looking to maintain a strong and vibrant relationship with their children.

Fathering After Separation or Divorce is our new 8-week program running October 14th through to December 1, 2015. You’ll learn a broad range of knowledge, resources and skills with a curriculum built for fathers, based on the best research from child psychologists, father-friendly lawyers and men’s health providers:
What You’ll Get from this Program
– Better understand what your child is going through
– Learn conflict resolution, team work, communication and co-parenting skills
– Learn how to deal with and report child abuse
– Learn how to take care of your emotional and physical health and well-being
– Learn how to protect yourself and understand your rights and obligations
– Navigate the legal system, including Duty Counsel, Family Responsibility Office, Office of the Children’s Lawyer, Legal Aid Clinics, etc
– Connect to father’s groups, service agencies, lawyers & healthcare professionals
– Hear from special experts and guests who will join us as much as possible
Registration Deadline
Registration for the first 8-week session closes September 30, 2015
Cost
The registration cost is $80. It defrays the expenses for hosting this program. If you are unable to afford the registration cost please let us know.
Advisors
The program is supported by two Canadian Centre for Men and Families Advisors who will join us as guests from time to time:
Brian Jenkins is Director, International Institute for Family Research in Toronto, and facilitates meetings of the group Fathers Are Capable Too.
Heidi Nabert is the co-founder and president of the National Shared Parenting Association and Director of Fathers’ Resources International.
