With “Should senators be appointed based on gender?”, this is Sheila Copps and her women friends trying to get special treatment for themselves and to take jobs from men. They are selfish and have no consideration for the people they want to displace and no consideration for the rights of men.

Merit is supposed to be the best regardless of gender, not because of gender. And, appointments are to be the best, there is a responsibility to the Canadian people.

Also, they are soliciting an appointment which brings up the Criminal Code:

Influencing or negotiating appointments or dealing in offices

      Section 125. Every one who

      (b) solicits, recommends or negotiates in any manner with respect to an appointment to or resignation from an office, in expectation of a direct or indirect reward, advantage or benefit,

is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.

This is obviously all too complicated for them. They should be ridiculed.
