Equality means equality for everyone.
Yesterday, Holly Nicolas and I had our event cancelled. We couldn’t continue our event since we need a student club for the room booking. Also, with the enormous publicity, we realized we would not be able to accommodate everybody who wanted to see the screening. Also, I had prepared a keynote speech.
We hope to reorganize something soon, so that we can accommodate feminists, MRAs, and anybody in between. We are hoping we can invite students, alumni, professors, and anyone else. As of right now, it looks like it is going to be bigger and better than we ever expected.
The press called me a few times yesterday, and so I spent most of the day yesterday answering questions from several Calgary reporters, as well as some questions from the University Newspaper, the Gauntlet. I tried to assure everyone that Canadian Association for Equality is looking to create a constructive dialog, and we hope to provoke a meaningful conversation about men’s issues in Calgary. We hope to start a constructive conversation about the issues raised in the “Red Pill”.
And hopefully, by next month, I will be back on track again at my grassroots local meetups!
I host a monthly meetup in Calgary at the library, and I still have my loyal patrons who show up to meetup every month to discuss men’s issues. Please get a meetup account, and if you RSVP to my meetup for the Red Pill screenign to come, I will personally save you a seat at the upcoming, reorganized Red Pill screening!!
