Dr. Silvia Medrano is writing her third book about Masculinities, focused on schoolboys from the Darftord Grammar School in England. Research and writing about it are her passion, and she never forgets her target: to make a difference in the world through the insights of her research (Glasser & Strauss, 1967). She received her PhD from the Latin American School of Social Sciences in the field of Sociology and Public Policies. Her dissertation was focused on the construction of Masculinity in three generations of men, in Dartford, England too. After over twenty years of having taught, researched and supervised in different universities of Argentina, England, The United States, France and Italy, she decided to move to Canada where she currently lives with her children. Her second passion is music from The Rolling Stones to Verdi. She can be contacted at silviame2603@gmail.com.
