Last week CCMF presented on men’s issues at the Richmond Hill Green High School’s Social Justice Fair.
Hundreds of high school students visited, with several expressing variations on the following: “men’s issues are different from what we always see.” Evidently they hoped to see more as many signed up for our event notices.
We also met several teachers who applauded the concept of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families, and we received a warm welcome from the school’s 2 Vice Principals (one male, one female).
It was a real pleasure to stand shoulder to shoulder with other important groups from the environmental, LGBT, women’s and other social justice movements.
