Rob Whitley is the Principal Investigator of the Social Psychiatry Research and Interest Group (SPRING) at the Douglas Hospital Research Center. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University. He has conducted considerable research on topics including homelessness, substance abuse, suicide, stigma, and media representations of mental illness. He has published over 100 papers in the field of social psychiatry, and he is currently leading research projects funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Mental Health Commission of Canada.[spacer height=”20px”]
